You can, and it's the job most people regret starting. The paper comes off. The adhesive and the damage stay. Removing it cleanly and leaving a wall that's ready to finish is the craft.
Is it expensive to remove wallpaper?
It's priced by the size of the room, how many layers there are, how the paper was hung, and what the wall needs afterwards. After a short walkthrough we send a detailed, fixed estimate.
What is the quickest way to remove old wallpaper?
The quick ways are what damage walls. We use the right approach for the paper and the wall, so the surface underneath is still sound when the paper is gone.
Can you paint over wallpaper instead of removing it?
We don't recommend it. Seams and texture show through paint, and the paper can lift later. Removing it and prepping the wall is the finish that lasts.
Do you install new wallpaper after removal?
Yes. Removal, wall prep and new installation can run as one project, with the wall prepped for the paper that's going up.
