We're hiring painters, paperhangers and drywall finishers
Experienced tradespeople who work clean, show up when they said they would, and care how the job looks when it is finished. Send us your details and we will be in touch.
Why Gallagher
A small crew, with the family behind it
Gallagher Paint and Paper is family owned and based in Highland Park. A Gallagher walks every estimate and stays across the job, and the crew is ours rather than subcontracted week to week. Most of the work is interior and exterior repainting, wallpaper and wall prep in occupied homes.
That means clean floors at the end of the day, clear timelines, and work that holds up when the homeowner looks at it closely.
What the job offers
Steady work, year round
A full schedule across the North Shore and Chicagoland, interior work through the winter and exteriors through the season.
Occupied homes, done properly
Floors and furniture covered, dust contained, and the room left tidy. The homeowner is usually there while you work.
Not a franchise
No quotas and no head office setting the schedule. The job takes the time the job takes.
Room to get better at it
Working alongside people who have done it for years, on older homes that ask more of you than new construction.
